ENTRIES CLOSE FRIDAY, AUGUST 29th.
1. Entry
forms must be in the fair office as soon as possible, but no later
than Friday, August 29th.
2. Exhibits
must be brought in Saturday, September 20th between 10:00 a.m.
and 6:00 p.m.
3. Judging
begins Saturday, September 20th at 6:30 p.m.
4. No
exhibit removed before 10:00 p.m. on
closing day of the fair. Open Sunday, the day after the fair, 9:00 a.m. to
Noon.
5. An
exhibitor may enter one specimen of a kind in each class except where more
are required.
6. The
management reserves the right to determine whether an article is worthy of
exhibition.
7. Cash
premiums will be given from the awards marked in the judges records and not
from the ribbons that may be attached to the exhibit.
8. Horticulture
must be grown by exhibitor. Arrangement groups or artistic displays may be
obtained from any source (names on tags and attached).
9. Arrangements
must be done by exhibitor.
10. Wilted
flowers should be replaced when needed. To avoid flowers from wilting, cut
early in morning or late in evening and immerse in warm water immediately
and let stand overnight. Flower exhibits not maintained in a presentable
fashion will be removed from display.
11. Best in Show will be awarded in each section by the judge
