fair will furnish handling equipment and scales to accommodate the

Rules:
1. Entries close Friday,
August 29th
2. Exhibits must be in place and ready
for judging by 6:00 p.m. Saturday, September
20th. They
will be judged 12:00 Noon, Sunday, September 21st.
3. All applications for space should be
made to Hillsdale County Fair, Hillsdale,
Michigan.
4. Every entry exhibited must be produced in
Michigan except kinds of honey.
5. A permit for moving bees must be obtained
from the Department of Agriculture
by exhibitors of bees and queens, and
must accompany the exhibit.
6. Any exhibitor who does not wish to enter in
sufficient classes to warrant displaying
an entire booth may enter in one or
more classes of Section 156 & 157.
7. Where an entry is made by only one
exhibitor in any class if in the opinion of the
judge, it is not worthy of
first premium he may award second, third, fourth, fifth,
or no premium at
all.
8. Exhibits will be released on the Sunday
following the fair between 9:00 a.m. and
Noon.
9. If exhibits are taken from the grounds
before release time without written
permission, the exhibitor shall forfeit
his premium awards.
10. Only booth displays can sell their
products.

SECTION 156 DISPLAY OF HONEY
Requirements: Exhibitors in this class
must make arrangements for space in advance. The space allotted must not
exceed 8 by 8 feet. The display of comb and extract honey must have been
produced in Michigan. The widest possible latitude is given to the
exhibitors in this class to compete in the most attractive and showy display
of honey to attract the eye of the visitor. There is no limitation to
decorations, illumination, design, or display of individual ingenuity.
