CHILDREN'S DAY - MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 26TH AND TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 27TH - FREE GATE. Children 9 and under are free everyday.
Vetran's Parade - Monday 10:00 a.m. starts at the Mid-Town Lot. This is an event for all ages - come early to get a great curb side seat.
Make sure to take your kids to the Barnyard Children located in the poultry barn- Open Class. Last year exhibit included ewe, dogs, cats, poultry, rabbits, pony and cow. This exhibit is one even adults enjoy looking at.
Milking Parlor - Stop by the Dairy Barn and let your children
experience watching them milk the cows. Milking times are 6 to
8 a.m. and again from 5 to 7 p.m.
Horseshoe Pitching - YOUTH FUN CLASS 9:30 a.m. on Monday, September 26th prior to the adult tournament. Each participant will pitch 12 shoes. Winner to be determined by total score. Trophies will be given to the first three places. NO ENTRY FEE REQUIRED. Pitching distance: Ages 8 to 12 - 20' and 13 - 18 - 30' to 40'.

We will be hosting the Michigan Pedal Pullers again this year. This event is one that should not be missed. The children pull a variety of weight by pedaling samll look alike tractors. The following age divisions will be offered this year. 3-4 year olds, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, a teen division 11-15 and
an adult division 16 & over. Girls will pull against girls, and boys against boys. Participation ribbons will be given to all. Trophies will be given to the top winner in each age group. THIS EVENT IS FREE. Registration will begin at 11:00 a.m. to the information booth. Monday, September 26th. ALL CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.

GUESS THE WEIGHT OF THE PUMPKIN - to win a
bicycle - for ages 12 & under ONLY - Two bikes to be given away
(1 girls and 1 boy). Located at the lower level of the Woman's Congress
building where the large pumpkins and the scarecrow are.
