Youth Department 4-H/FFA

The 4-H program is a youth development program that involves volunteers in providing positive, experiential, educational opportunities for and with youth ages 6-19 years of age.  Our mission is to create environments that build strong, healthy youth who are proactive in a complex and changing world.  There are a number of 4-H clubs in Hillsdale County that meet the needs of our youth and offer learning experiences in a variety of project areas.  If you are interested in finding out more about the 4-H program please contact the MSU Extension Office at 517-439-9301.

The FFA program provides Agri-Science education, leadership and career development programs to students grades 7-12.  For additional information on opportunities in the FFA program contact your local school about a chapter in your area.
